Beschrijving
Veneer oak bourbon has a serene, enriching hue that ranges from deep cream to light brown. This tint complements well in a timeless or rustic style. The grain direction on the fronts is vertical, which creates unity in your kitchen. Veneer is a high-quality alternative to solid oak. The veneer is 1 millimeter thick, which allows it to be further processed. Need custom work instead of IKEA Metod? That is also possible.
Finish
The finish ‘fine-sawn’ means that light, horizontal saw cuts are visible on the wood. These saw marks give the wood a robust character, as if it was prematurely removed from the sawmill. These veneer oak fronts are finished with a hardwax oil from the brand Rubio Monocoat in the color Bourbon, which provides good protection against moisture and grease, and makes them easy to clean.
Handle
The fronts can be equipped with a handleless profile for a handleless effect. It is also possible to use one of our handles. Check out our range of handles here.
Quality
Our oak wood and oak veneer come from European forests and are sustainably harvested. All panels are delivered standardly in a rustic appearance, but are also available in an A-quality. That means that there are few knots in it and that it is ‘fault-free’, which gives a calmer appearance.
